The original photo was scanned at high resolution to create a digital image. Using Photoshop, the color was corrected, detail was restored in many areas, spots and scratches were removed, and the cracked parts of the surface were filled in. The repaired image was printed at a professional lab and now hangs in a place of honor on the client's wall.
